Elizabeth Jane Hurley was an English model, actress and performer who gained fame during the 1990s, when she became Hugh Grant's girlfriend. The film of Grant Four Weddings and a Funeral gained international recognition, Hurley accompanied Grant to its Los Angeles premiere wearing a black Versace gown with gold safety pins. The dress immediately garnered press attention. Hurley's association in the company of Estee Lauder, a cosmetics company, has been considered as the pinnacle of her professional career. Hurley was hired by Estee Laundry as their first model when she was 28. From 1995 onwards, she has been used as a face for Estee Lauder's cosmetics including Sensuous Intuition and Pleasures. In the popular spy comedies International Man of Mystery (1997) and Austin Powers The Spy Who Shagged Me (1998), she played Vanessa Kensington. Hurley is the designer and model of a line of beachwear named after her. I Didn't Kiss a Girl was a more bold ode to sexism that was accompanied by electronic-pop with a sharp edge. It was not a popular song and critics were critical of its stance on promoting sexual relationships and also argued that it portrays a racy and sexually charged scene appealing to male fantasies about female sexuality. I Kissed a Girl became an international number-one single because of its mix of sensuality and polished song melody. The song also contributed to the sales for her album from 2008 called the album One of the Boys. The sharp and lively second track was very popular. The album Perry created for herself sold more than three million copies in United States.
